Festive, fun, and so easy to make!

If you’re looking for a simple but show-stopping festive treat, these Chocolate Brownie Pinecones are the perfect choice. They’re one of my favourite creations from last year — and honestly, I might love them even more this year! They look adorable on a Christmas dessert table, taste absolutely divine, and come together with just a handful of ingredients.
Whether you’re baking with little ones, planning a cozy movie night, or putting together edible gifts, these brownie pinecones are guaranteed to impress.
🎄 What You’ll Need
You only need a few simple ingredients — most of which you probably already have at home!
- Brownies – I used pre-made brownies to save time, but you can absolutely bake your favourite homemade recipe if you’d like.
- Chocolate (melted) – this acts as the glue that holds everything together and adds extra richness.
- Chocolate cereal – I used Kellogg’s Coco Pops Chocos for that perfect pinecone texture, but any similar cereal will work.
- Powdered sugar – for the prettiest snowy finish!
🍫 How to Make Chocolate Brownie Pinecones
This recipe is so simple and fun — no oven required if you’re using pre-made brownies!
- Break up the brownies into small pieces.
- Press the brownie pieces together to form a dough-like texture, then roll and shape it into a cone (this will be your pinecone base).
- Dip the cone into melted chocolate so it’s evenly coated.
- Press cereal pieces into the brownie cone, layering them to resemble pinecone scales.
- Dust lightly with powdered sugar to create a snowy, wintry look. ❄️

✨ Tips & Variations
- Try using white chocolate for a “frosted” version.
- Add a touch of hazelnut spread to the brownie dough for extra richness.
- If you’re making these with kids, let them design their own pinecones — it’s messy fun in the best way!

These Chocolate Brownie Pinecones are as delicious as they are adorable. They’re a festive showstopper that requires minimal effort but looks like something straight out of a Christmas bakery window.
So go ahead — make a batch, dust them with sugar “snow,” and enjoy the cozy, chocolatey magic of the holidays!
